  • New to STHS Volleyball program | TBVolleyballC&STHS

Welcome to STHS Volleyball There are a few things the veterans wanted to share ***SAVE THE DATE!*** Tahoe Blue Volleyball Club is hosting tournament the weekend of August TBD 2025. We need LOTS of volunteers starting on Friday, through Monday. This is our main fundraiser for the year and allows us to pay for all the things that make our volleyball program excellent!!! ** Register your athletes and get her sports physical ASAP https://sths.ltusd.org/athletics ** Athletes will need to complete a concussion test prior to try outs, look for a link emailed by the Athletics Director. ** Athletes will need indoor court shoes and kneepads. Shoes and kneepads can be any color. Athletes can wear shorts of any length or leggings as long as it matches the color of the team. ** We recommend not planning any personal out of town travel from August through the end of October. Varsity also may compete at NIAA Regional and State Tournaments in Las Vegas this year in early November. Practice and games are mandatory MON-SAT. (State location rotates yearly between Reno and Las Vegas, because we are a nevada 3a team.) ** Summer open gym is at STHS from 6-8am, Monday - Friday through the summer up until tryouts. Athletes are expected to be there. ** Tryouts for all teams will be sometime the first week of August. The same week of tryouts there will be mandatory parent meeting, that Wednesday, for all fall athlete parents. As well, immediately following in the gold gym, a mandatory volleyball player AND parent meeting going over the upcoming season. ** The Schedule of Games for the Season will be posted on this site as soon as possible. This year’s schedule will include travel with an overnight trip to Elko, NV. ** Game days can be LONG days. Home games athletes must stay through all games at STHS. Away games athletes will miss class time and may arrive back home to STHS late. Athletes should plan on bring water and snacks to get through the varsity who plays at 7pm, some schools don't have snack bars. ** We host a TBVC Banquet to celebrate our athletes, coaches, families, and board in early- to mid-November.
